1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and references to “you” include both you individually and that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. Your continued use of the Service following any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.2. Description of Service
Ascienth provides a cloud-based virtual private server (VPS) platform that allows customers to provision, configure, and manage virtual servers, storage, networking, and related infrastructure resources on demand. The Service is offered on an hourly, usage-based billing model as described in our Billing documentation. Ascienth reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.3. Account Registration and Security
To access the Service, you must register for an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information, including a valid email address and payment method. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must:- Promptly notify Ascienth of any unauthorized use of your account or suspected security breach by contacting support@ascienth.com.
- Ensure that your account information remains accurate and up to date at all times.
- Not share your account credentials with any third party or allow multiple individuals to use a single account without written authorization from Ascienth.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Ascienth platform:- Spam and unsolicited communications: Sending bulk unsolicited email, SMS, or other communications; operating open mail relays; or engaging in any activity that facilitates the transmission of spam.
- Illegal content: Hosting, distributing, or transmitting any content that is unlawful, including but not limited to content that infringes intellectual property rights, constitutes child sexual abuse material, or violates applicable export control laws.
- Network abuse: Conducting or participating in denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks; port scanning third-party networks without authorization; or intentionally disrupting the connectivity or performance of the Ascienth network or any third-party network.
- Cryptocurrency mining: Running cryptocurrency mining operations, including proof-of-work mining software, without prior written approval from Ascienth. Approved mining use cases are subject to additional terms and resource limitations.
- Phishing and fraud: Hosting phishing pages, conducting social engineering attacks, impersonating other persons or organizations, or engaging in any fraudulent activity.
- Unauthorized access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any computer system, network, or data, including other Ascienth customer environments.
